Cloud/IT infra/Dev Ops Engineer 

We are currently looking for a Cloud/IT infra/Dev Ops engineer to join our Jolla boat. This position is primarily based in our office in Finland in Tampere or Helsinki, but other locations can be considered based on the applicant. 
In this role you will be developing and maintaining services supporting Sailfish OS devices in the cloud and participate in developing build and release infrastructure. You need to perform troubleshooting and proactive monitoring. You will plan, build and support the environment, as well as manage and support the production environment.
This is a permanent, full-time position and starts immediately once the selection process is completed.
Requirements 
You are the person we are looking for, if you have experience in some of the following areas:
  • Python and Django software development
  • Ruby and Rails software development
  • Web/Application server deployment, configuration and monitoring
  • Working with Amazon Web Services
  • System configuration management and automation tools, like Puppet
And in addition to the points above you should have
  • good command of English language, other languages seen as an advantage
  • good team working skills and ‘can do’ attitude
  • ability to work as part of geographically distributed team

Hardware Adaptation Engineer

In this role you will participate in porting Sailfish OS to new devices and hardware adaptation for existing devices. Your tasks will include planning, designing, implementing and testing software modules.

You are the person we are looking for, if you  
  • have working experience with ARM based devices
  • have experience in working with wireless communications, such as Bluetooth, and WLAN
  • have strong C language programming skills, C++ seen as advantage
  • have experience in Linux OS middleware component development and maintenance, and have worked with Open Source projects
  • have DBus, Qt, GLib knowledge – this is regarded beneficial
  • have excellent debugging, profiling and performance optimizing skills

Developer offering Product Manager

We are currently looking for a Product Manager to join our Jolla boat. This position is primarily based in our office in Finland in Tampere, but other locations can be considered based on the applicant. 
                                                
In this role you will manage the requirements and priorities of software development offering for Sailfish OS. This covers a wide area including the SDKs, APIs, Store intake, documentation and developer relations. It’s your job to make Sailfish OS a great platform for all developers, including 3rd party app developers, open source contributors, Jolla’s internal developers and the partner developers. You will co-ordinate building world class developer offering together with Chief Engineer’s that manage the development teams, R&D management, and customers.
